Tattoos by Sunshine is a private, one-on-one, appointment-only tattoo studio run by owner/artist Sunshine and her Husba-ssistant™ Rob. Conveniently located on Northwest Highway (Rte. 14) in Crystal Lake, we offer a judgment-free, body-positive, welcoming experience in a calm, quiet, and relaxing environment.
Sunshine’s focus is on large-scale floral/botanicals in her signature wispy style, as well as nerdy/gamer and witchy/fantasy projects, which she often incorporates into her floral pieces.
She loves anything Nintendo, Pokemon, skulls, creepy-crawlies, nature, dragons, HP, Throne of Glass, etc. With over 22 years as a tattoo artist, Sunshine has the skill and experience necessary to bring your ideas to life, whether it be dark and bold, or soft and delicate.

Cancellation notices typically go out to subscribers 1-3 days before being announced on socials, allowing you to snag that last minute spot or move up an existing appointment. And don’t worry – we hate spam as much as you do; emails are kept to a minimum.
